Overview

Daiwa Roynet Hotel Sendai is two minutes on foot from Sendai Station's East Exit, with three restaurants and a 24-hour convenience store in the same building. The east-side location is convenient for Shinkansen arrivals, the Sendai Airport Access Line, East Exit buses, and the nearby Tozai subway line.

The front desk is on the second floor. With 270 rooms and several everyday services on site, the hotel is a strong fit for travelers who want easy rail access without relying on the station complex for every meal, errand, or late-night purchase.

Rooms

Moderate singles and doubles measure 18.2 square meters, while Deluxe singles and doubles offer 20.8 square meters. Wide desks, bedside power, USB ports, and free wired and wireless internet make the rooms suitable for work-focused stays as well as short rail trips.

Twin rooms range from about 20.8 to 30.9 square meters. The larger Grand Deluxe Twin can accommodate three guests with an extra bed, and the 30.9-square-meter universal twin provides an accessible option. Couples and groups should compare the smaller Standard Twin with the larger Deluxe and Grand Deluxe layouts when choosing a room.

Facilities

A 24-hour convenience store is on the first floor, and guest coin laundries are available around the clock on the fifth and eighth floors. Vending machines, microwaves, ice machines, luggage storage, and domestic courier service cover the main needs of both short and longer stays.

The on-site mechanical garage has 40 paid spaces and is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Reservations are not accepted, vehicle-size limits apply, and cars cannot enter or leave between 11:00 PM and 6:30 AM.

Dining

Breakfast is a paid Japanese and Western buffet at Kochira Marutoku Gyogyobu on the second floor. Fish leads the buffet, with market-driven daily dishes and regional staples such as sasa-kamaboko fish cakes and zunda mochi. Weekday and weekend breakfast hours differ.

Kochira Marutoku Gyogyobu also serves lunch and dinner. On the first floor, Gyutan Tsukasa specializes in grilled beef tongue, while SK7 offers bistro dishes, craft beer, and wine, giving guests several in-building choices beyond breakfast.

Location and transport

The hotel is in the Sendai Station Area on the east side of the rail hub. JR Sendai Station's East Exit is about two minutes away on foot, and Miyagino-dori Station on the Sendai Subway Tozai Line is about one minute from the hotel.

Sendai Station provides Tohoku Shinkansen service, regional JR trains, the airport line, and both subway lines. The east-side position also keeps the East Exit Bus Pool and Miyagino-dori close, so guests do not need to cross the full station district for every departure.

Airport access

The Sendai Airport Access Line runs directly from Sendai Airport to Sendai Station in about 25 minutes. From the airport-line arrival at Sendai Station, allow about seven minutes to reach the hotel on foot, with no additional train or bus transfer required.

Why stay here

Daiwa Roynet Hotel Sendai is a good choice for travelers who want the Shinkansen and airport train close by, along with breakfast, dinner, laundry, parking, and a convenience store in the same building. It is especially well suited to east-side Sendai plans, business trips, short rail stays, and itineraries that use the station repeatedly.

Good to know

The front desk is on the second floor. Garage access stops overnight, so drivers arriving late or leaving very early should check vehicle-size restrictions in advance and plan for nearby parking if the on-site garage will not work.

Several Daiwa Roynet hotels operate in Sendai. This is Daiwa Roynet Hotel Sendai near the East Exit, not Daiwa Roynet Hotel Sendai Nishiguchi Premier or Daiwa Roynet Hotel Sendai Ichibancho Premier.
