Overview
After 17 years at Kafuna Asahibashi, Naha Tokyu REI Hotel closed in September 2026. It no longer accepts guests. City Express by Marriott Okinawa Naha is planned to open in the same building in spring 2027.
Location and transport
A covered passage links Asahibashi Station with Kafuna Asahibashi. Yui Rail runs directly from Naha Airport to the station in about 11 minutes, while Naha Bus Terminal is nearby. Kokusai Street is about nine minutes on foot from the former hotel.
Why stay here
You can't book Naha Tokyu REI Hotel. Until the new hotel opens, look elsewhere around Asahibashi for a room. The area still provides direct airport monorail service and buses to other parts of Okinawa Main Island without requiring a trip across central Naha first.
