Most sightseeing still requires onward transport. Tsuruga Castle and the city's other major historic sites lie beyond the station blocks, with local buses, taxis, bicycles, and cars providing ways to reach them.

Breakfast is included and served as a buffet from 6:30 to 9:00. The early start leaves time to eat before a morning train, a day of sightseeing, or a drive into the wider Aizu region.
Location and transport
The hotel is in the Aizuwakamatsu Station Area, where JR trains, local buses, highway coaches, and taxis meet. The usual rail journey from Tokyo changes at Koriyama from the Tohoku Shinkansen to the Ban-etsu West Line.
The Haikara-san sightseeing loop starts at Aizu-Wakamatsu Station. It serves Nanukamachi and Tsuruga Castle before continuing toward Higashiyama and Iimoriyama, so guests can cover the city's dispersed sights without driving. Allow about 20 minutes by bus to Tsurugajo Iriguchi, followed by another five minutes on foot to the castle.
By road, the hotel is about ten minutes from the Aizuwakamatsu interchange. On-site parking allows guests to arrive by car and use the sightseeing loop later, or reach Aizuwakamatsu by train before collecting a vehicle for regional trips.
Why stay here
A short station walk, breakfast from 6:30, and substantial parking simplify the transition between arrival and the next day's plans. These advantages matter most for early departures, late arrivals, and itineraries that combine rail travel with driving.
The station side favors straightforward transport over historic atmosphere. Travelers who want evenings near the castle streets or the hot-spring setting of Higashiyama may prefer another part of Aizuwakamatsu.
Good to know
Parking is first-come, first-served and can't be reserved. The multi-level garage has a two-meter height limit, so taller vehicles depend on the surface spaces or another car park.
