Overview

Near Aeon Chitose, ANA Crowne Plaza Chitose is a full-service hotel in central Chitose rather than an in-terminal airport stay. It gives travelers more on-site dining, event space, and parking than a simple station-area room, while keeping New Chitose Airport within easy local transfer range.

From Chitose Station, the walk leads through Chitose Station Plaza and continues toward Aeon Chitose before reaching the hotel. JR access is close enough for most plans, though travelers who want the shortest possible walk to airline counters should choose accommodation inside the airport terminal area.

Rooms

The hotel has 438 guestrooms across its Tower and Wing buildings. The Wing Building opened in April 2017, adding a newer accommodation wing and additional guest services.

Room types vary by building, so compare the exact category if bed layout, views, or extra space are important. This is a broader Chitose stay, not just a room for sleeping near the station.

Facilities

Facilities are geared toward full-service city-hotel convenience. Guests have access to a front desk, main lobby, cloakroom and bell support, meeting and banquet venues, and 90 free parking spaces, including some spaces for large buses.

The parking is especially helpful if you are driving around central Hokkaido or arriving by rental car from the airport. Travelers relying only on JR should pay closer attention to the walk from Chitose Station and the hotel's position beyond Aeon Chitose.

Dining

Dining is one of the hotel's clear strengths. HASKAP The Garden focuses on Hokkaido ingredients, Robata Grill Restaurant Shikotsu serves grilled seafood and local produce, and Sushi & Seafood Fujihana is on the 11th floor with views over Chitose.

The Park Bar adds a first-floor option for drinks and light snacks. Together, the restaurants and bar make the hotel easier to use for an evening in Chitose than a basic airport stopover.

Location and transport

ANA Crowne Plaza Chitose is located in central Chitose, behind Aeon Chitose when approaching from the station side. From Chitose Station, use the North Ticket Gate, pass through Chitose Station Plaza and the connecting passage, then continue along the road toward Aeon before reaching the hotel.

This location works well if you want central Chitose services, JR access, and car parking in the same stay. It is different from the airport terminal area, where the main advantage is direct indoor access to flight counters, terminal shops, and New Chitose Airport Station.

Airport access

Airport access is by local transfer rather than an in-terminal walk. The hotel is served by the Yumai Airport Line from New Chitose Airport to Aeon Chitose, with a listed one-way fare of 230 yen.

JR access is also possible through Chitose Station. For most visitors, the choice is between taking the bus to Aeon Chitose, using a taxi or car, or riding JR to Chitose Station and continuing to the hotel from there.

Why stay here

Choose ANA Crowne Plaza Chitose if you want a larger Chitose hotel with several dining options, free parking, meeting space, and airport access by local bus or car. It is less direct than sleeping inside New Chitose Airport, but it lets central Chitose play a more useful role in the stay.
