Overview
If train and bus convenience matter more than staying in the middle of the sightseeing districts, ANA Crowne Plaza Kanazawa is a straightforward full-service choice by Kanazawa Station. The hotel is beside the Kenrokuen Exit, about one minute on foot from the station, and the walk can be made under cover. That makes arrival simpler after a Hokuriku Shinkansen trip, during rain, late in the evening, or when traveling with heavier luggage.
The hotel is part of the Kanazawa Station Area, with station shopping, taxis, local buses, loop buses, and rail connections close by. It suits travelers who plan to use Kanazawa as a transport hub, as well as those who want the dining and event facilities of a larger hotel without giving up quick access to the station.
Rooms
ANA Crowne Plaza Kanazawa has 249 guest rooms. Categories include Standard Single, Standard Twin, Superior Twin, Superior Corner Twin, Deluxe Corner Twin, Standard Double, Superior Double, Premium Twin, Royal Suite, and Imperial Suite.
Room sizes range from 15.3 square meters in Standard Single rooms to 101.3 square meters in the Imperial Suite. Amenities include high-speed internet, Wi-Fi, a work space, an in-room safe, television, hair dryer, bath amenities, coffee and tea facilities, a mini refrigerator, and accessible-room features.
Facilities
On-site facilities include parking, a pastry shop, a boutique, a multi-use space, and meeting and event venues. The event facilities are substantial, with nine venues, a maximum capacity of 1,200 people, and a largest venue of 1,000 square meters. That makes the hotel relevant for business events and group functions as well as ordinary leisure stays.
Dining
Dining is broader than at many compact station hotels. Options include Cascade Dining, Karin for Chinese cuisine, Unkai for Japanese cuisine, Kaga for teppanyaki, Sky Bar La Briller, Cascade Lounge, a takeout hotel gourmet service, and the seasonal Beer Terrace.
Breakfast is served at Cascade Dining, where the hotel's THE 10 breakfast concept is built around signature dishes and local food.
Location and transport
The main transport advantage is the hotel's proximity to Kanazawa Station. Hokuriku Shinkansen services, station shopping, taxis, local buses, loop buses, and airport-bus connections are all close, so the transfer between arriving, checking in, and heading back out is short.
The Kenrokuen Exit location is also convenient if your plans involve frequent returns to the station during the day. If evening walks in the central sightseeing area are the priority, areas closer to Omicho Market, Korinbo, or the castle-and-garden side may feel more direct.
Airport access
Komatsu Airport access works by bus to the Kanazawa Station West Exit bus terminal. The super express bus takes about 40 minutes, followed by about five minutes on foot from the West Exit bus terminal to the hotel.
Why stay here
Choose ANA Crowne Plaza Kanazawa if you want a larger hotel almost at the station, with in-house restaurants, bar and lounge options, event space, and a covered, very short walk from the train. It is a good fit for Shinkansen arrivals, airport-bus transfers, business events, and trips where luggage handling matters.
Choose a hotel closer to Omicho Market, Korinbo, or the castle-and-garden side if being able to step out directly into the central sightseeing area in the evening matters more than immediate station access.
Good to know
The Komatsu Airport bus uses the West Exit bus terminal, while the hotel is by the Kenrokuen Exit. The walk between the bus terminal and the hotel is short, but it is still part of the transfer, so allow for those extra minutes when planning your arrival or departure.
