Transport access and hotel guide

Overview

ART HOTEL Nippori Lungwood is located east of Nippori Station, a one-minute walk from the JR South Exit. The surrounding streets have fabric shops, and the Yamanote Line connects the area with several of Tokyo's main sightseeing and shopping districts.

The hotel has smaller doubles and larger twins, including top-floor rooms with city views. There's a restaurant and gym on site.

Rooms

Standard Double rooms measure 14 square meters. Comfort Twins measure 26 square meters and have two beds, so they're worth comparing if you're sharing and need more floor space for luggage.

On the 14th floor, Sky View Twins measure 30 square meters. A version with an extra bed accommodates three adults and gives each guest a bed. All guest rooms are non-smoking.

Facilities

The sixth-floor gym is free for overnight guests and open 24 hours. It's available before breakfast or after an evening out.

Washing and drying machines are on the 11th floor if you need to do laundry during your stay.

Dining

Serio, on the first floor, serves a Japanese and Western breakfast buffet from 7 am to 10 am, with last orders at 9:30 am. Check whether breakfast is included in your room rate.

The restaurant also opens for lunch and dinner, although dinner isn't served every day. Check the schedule if you plan to eat there after arriving.

Location and transport

The JR South Exit is nearest to the hotel, but it isn't the step-free route from the platforms. For elevator access, use the North Gate and continue to the east-side square. Allow extra time for that route and the walk through the station.

Yamanote Line trains run directly to Ueno, Tokyo, Ikebukuro and Shinjuku. You can reach these districts without changing trains.

Airport access

The Keisei Skyliner runs directly from Narita Airport to Nippori, with reserved seating throughout. Its trains use the Keisei platforms, so the one-minute walk from the JR South Exit doesn't represent the full platform-to-hotel journey.

From Haneda Airport, take the Tokyo Monorail to Hamamatsucho and change once to the JR Yamanote Line for Nippori.

Why stay here

For a Narita departure, staying near the Skyliner avoids a cross-city journey before the airport train. For a longer visit, compare the larger twin rooms if you want more space for luggage.

Around Tokyo-Nippori, you can browse cloth and sewing supplies in Nippori Fabric Town, then cross to the west side for Yanaka Ginza's food shops and Japanese sweets.

Good to know

Check-in starts at 2 pm, and checkout is at 11 am. Drivers should check the mechanical car park's vehicle-size limits and operating hours before arrival.
