Overview
Conrad Nagoya opened on July 31, 2026, on the upper floors of The Landmark Nagoya Sakae, a new mixed-use tower in central Nagoya. Its guest rooms, restaurants, and wellness facilities overlook the Nagoya-Sakae district, while a direct connection to Nagoya Sakae Station keeps the subway close.
Sakae brings central Nagoya's department stores, restaurants, nightlife, and subway routes within easy reach. Nagoya Station is two stops west on the Higashiyama Line. Shinkansen trips are therefore manageable, but every long-distance rail journey begins with a subway ride and a transfer at the city's main rail complex.
Rooms
The 170 rooms occupy floors 33 to 40, and standard categories start at a generous 50 square meters. Deluxe rooms focus on city views, Premium rooms add views from the bathroom, and Executive rooms include lounge access. All three categories have separate bathtubs and rain showers.
The 29 suites provide considerably more space. Corner suites have separate living areas, while the Conrad Suite on the 40th floor measures 213 square meters. Two accessible rooms are also available.
Facilities
The entire 32nd floor is devoted to wellness. It contains a spa with four private treatment rooms, a relaxation lounge, an 18-meter indoor pool, and a fitness center open around the clock. Executive-room and suite guests can also use the high-floor lounge.
Dining
Six dining and drinking venues occupy floors 31 and 40. Casa Oliva serves Italian menus for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. On the top floor, separate sushi and teppanyaki restaurants share the level with House of Mon, a rooftop bar with indoor seating and an open-air terrace.
Sundrop in the lobby serves afternoon tea, drinks, and evening cocktails, accompanied by live jazz at night. Songbird is a more casual stop for coffee and sweets. Some venues operate on limited days or hours, so check the schedule before planning a meal around a particular restaurant or bar.
Location and transport
The direct connection leads to Sakae Station, not Nagoya Station. From Sakae, the Higashiyama Line runs through Fushimi to Nagoya Station, while the Meijo Line follows a central loop serving destinations including Nagoya Castle and Kanayama.
Department stores and underground arcades begin around Sakae Station. Downtown shopping, dining, and nightlife are close, but the Shinkansen platforms and Meitetsu airport trains at Nagoya Station remain two subway stops away.
Airport access
The hotel doesn't operate an airport shuttle. Direct Centrair limousine buses serve the Sakae and Fushimi area, including a stop at the Oasis 21 bus terminal, with a current estimated journey of about 55 minutes depending on traffic.
By rail, take a Meitetsu airport train to Nagoya Station and transfer to the Higashiyama Line for the two-stop ride to Sakae. The bus avoids that transfer, while the train is less exposed to road delays. Check the current timetable before traveling, particularly for an early flight.
Why stay here
Direct subway access, rooms starting at 50 square meters, and a dedicated wellness floor put comfort and downtown convenience in the same tower. The tradeoff is clear: Shinkansen departures and Meitetsu airport trains require a two-stop subway ride to Nagoya Station.
Department stores and underground arcades surround Sakae Station, while Chubu Electric Power MIRAI TOWER and Oasis 21 mark the district's northern side. Shopping, meals, and evening plans can all remain within Sakae.

Dining venues and the spa follow individual schedules. Check current hours if a particular restaurant or treatment is central to your stay.
The station connection leads to the municipal subway rather than JR or Shinkansen platforms. Covered parking is limited to 40 cars, and both self-parking and valet parking cost extra.
