Overview
Opened in March 2026, Hotel Metropolitan Oimachi Tracks forms part of the OIMACHI TRACKS complex and connects directly to the Tracks Gate at Oimachi Station. Its 285 rooms occupy floors six through thirteen, above the fifth-floor lobby and restaurant.
The outlook is unusual for a Tokyo hotel. Selected rooms and the 26th-floor rooftop bar face the adjoining rail yard, while greenery and wood give the interiors a forest-cottage character. This isn't a conventional sightseeing address. Instead, the station connection, Haneda access, and services within the complex simplify everyday travel.
Rooms
Comfort King and Comfort Twin rooms measure roughly 20 to 22 square meters, with efficient layouts and shower booths instead of bathtubs. Tracks-View versions face the rail yard, and some have private balconies. Not every room offers this outlook, so check the category before booking.
Corner Twins add more floor space, a bathtub with a separate washing area, and space for a third guest on an extra bed. The Superior Twin with Balcony and Tracks-View Premium Twin with Balcony are designed with wheelchair users and older guests in mind. At the top of the range, the Tracks-View Suite has a large balcony and a 100-inch screen.
Facilities
A self-service cloakroom on the fifth floor can store luggage after checkout. The sixth-floor fitness room is open around the clock to registered guests, while coin laundries on the eighth and tenth floors are helpful for longer stays. Microwaves, ice machines, and vending machines are available on two guest-room floors.
Dining
The Tailor Yard Main Dining serves breakfast, lunch, cafe dishes, and dinner in a space styled after a European dining car. Breakfast combines a choice of internationally themed main plates with a buffet of more than 50 dishes.
The evening draw is upstairs. Travelers House Rooftop Bar occupies the 26th floor, about 100 meters above ground, with an open-air terrace overlooking the Tokyo skyline and rail yard.
Location and transport
The hotel's direct connection leads specifically to JR Oimachi Station's Tracks Gate. JR Keihin-Tohoku Line trains run north to Shinagawa and Tokyo and south to Kamata and Kawasaki. Shinagawa is the nearby transfer point for the Shinkansen; Oimachi itself isn't a bullet-train stop.
Oimachi also serves the Rinkai and Tokyu Oimachi lines. Rinkai trains run toward Tokyo Teleport, Kokusai-tenjijo, and Shin-kiba, with through services via Osaki to Shibuya and Shinjuku. Tokyu trains head west toward Jiyugaoka, Futako-tamagawa, and Mizonokuchi. Tokyu and Rinkai services have separate entrances and fare gates, so the hotel connection doesn't provide an indoor route directly to every platform.
Airport access
Scheduled public buses connect the OIMACHI TRACKS North Rotary with all three Haneda Airport terminals. The stop is within the complex, but the service is a public airport bus rather than a private hotel shuttle, and road traffic can affect journey times.
There is no verified direct service to Narita Airport. Reaching Narita requires a rail or bus connection elsewhere in Tokyo.
Why stay here
Trips combining central Tokyo, Odaiba, the Tokyo Big Sight area, and a Haneda flight benefit most from the transport options here. Rail enthusiasts will get more from a Tracks-View room and the rooftop bar, while other guests gain several useful directions of travel without staying at one of Tokyo's largest stations.
Within Tokyo-Oimachi, OIMACHI TRACKS brings together restaurants, shops, a cinema, and public spaces beside the station. Supermarkets and casual places to eat and drink broaden the neighborhood options. It's an everyday, convenience-led area rather than a famous sightseeing address.
Good to know
The hotel doesn't have a dedicated car park. Guests can use paid parking elsewhere in the OIMACHI TRACKS complex, but the hotel can't reserve spaces or confirm availability. Check-in begins at 3:00 p.m., and checkout is by 11:00 a.m.
