Location and transport
The hotel stands west of the rail complex in the Oita Station Area, amid central Oita's arts district. The official route from Oita Station's Funai Chuo Exit takes about ten minutes on foot. A taxi takes roughly two to three minutes when traffic is light.
Oita Station is the city's main rail hub for trips toward Beppu and inland Kyushu. AMU Plaza and the streets between the station and hotel provide shopping and restaurants, while the museum and cultural center are much closer to the hotel entrance.
Airport access
Airliner buses travel between Oita Airport and Oita Station in roughly 68 minutes. From the Oita Ekimae stop, allow about eight to ten minutes for the outdoor walk to the hotel, or continue by taxi.
This is scheduled public transport, not a hotel shuttle. Traffic can lengthen the journey, so check the current timetable and leave extra time before an early flight.
Why stay here
Upper-floor views, a broad choice of rooms, and several full dining venues distinguish the hotel from a simpler station-side business hotel. The tradeoff is a ten-minute outdoor walk from Oita Station, balanced by having central Oita's main arts venues close at hand.
The Oita Prefectural Art Museum is nearby, and the adjoining cultural district makes it easy to include an exhibition or performance in the day. Downtown dining and shopping continue toward the station, so the walk also connects the hotel with the busier commercial side of central Oita.
