Overview
Every room at Hotel Okura Tokyo Bay starts at 44 square metres, a generous amount of space for a stay shaped by full days in the parks. Marble corridors overlook an open-air courtyard, while the palace-like exterior and formal lobby give this 427-room hotel a traditional full-service atmosphere.
This Tokyo Disney Resort Official Hotel is about three minutes on foot from Bayside Station. A free Disney Resort Cruiser covers the same short route, and the paid Disney Resort Line continues to Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea.
Rooms
Superior, Deluxe, Executive, and Japanese-style rooms all start at 44 square metres. Selected Superior layouts sleep four, Deluxe connecting rooms accommodate families booking more than one room, and the tatami rooms use futons instead of Western beds. Suites range from 53 to 185 square metres.
Western-style categories have large marble bathrooms with separate glass-enclosed showers. Their bathtubs fill in roughly one minute, a welcome detail when several people need to get ready. The hotel doesn't accept requests for a particular floor or view, so book for the layout rather than assuming a park or bay outlook.
Facilities
A small kids' space in the first-floor lobby can help during check-in waits. The shops carry Disney goods and everyday supplies, including baby products. Items for children can be borrowed by advance request, although availability is limited.
There's no coin laundry. Paid cleaning, dry-cleaning, and pressing services are available instead.
Dining
Fontana and Terrace handle the main breakfast service, with Okura's traditional French toast as the signature item. Hagoromo serves Japanese dishes and teppanyaki for a quieter sit-down meal.
Breakfast arrangements can vary by date. Check the current venue and format if an early park start matters.
Location and transport
Bayside Station is about three minutes away on foot, and the free Disney Resort Cruiser comes in handy with luggage or a stroller. The paid monorail then serves both parks, but the hotel doesn't run a direct bus to either entrance.
A separate free scheduled bus connects the hotel with Maihama Station. Guests arriving by JR can also leave luggage at the Hotel Service Counter in the Tokyo Disney Resort Welcome Center beside the station between 08:00 and 15:00, with free delivery to the hotel. Bus and counter hours can change.
JR trains reach Maihama from Tokyo Station in about 15 minutes. The resort location favors park-focused trips, while visits to other parts of central Tokyo require traveling back through Maihama.
Airport access
Paid airport limousine buses serve the hotel from both Haneda and Narita, with hotel departures available for both airports. Seats must be reserved online because the hotel can't book them for guests. Not every airport departure on the resort route stops here, so check the exact stop before buying.
Published journey estimates vary widely: 40 to 120 minutes from Haneda and 60 to 120 minutes from Narita. Road traffic can push either trip toward the longer end.
Why stay here
The generous baseline room size, substantial bathrooms, and choice of connecting or Japanese-style layouts are especially valuable after a full park day. Families and groups can stay within the resort without accepting the compact rooms common at many Tokyo hotels.
The location pays off when the parks set the schedule, with Ikspiari providing shopping and meals outside the gates. Travelers spending only one day at Disney will usually find central Tokyo more convenient for the rest of the city.
Good to know
Hotel Okura Tokyo Bay is in the resort's official-hotel zone rather than at either park entrance. The free local buses don't replace the paid monorail for normal park access. Check-in begins at 15:00, and check-out is by 12:00.
A building-wide power shutdown is scheduled from 13:00 on January 18 until 00:30 on January 19, 2027. Check-in won't be available on January 18, and departing guests must leave the building by 13:00. Utilities will remain unavailable until 11:00 on January 19, although normal check-in resumes at 15:00.
