Hyatt House Kanazawa

Overview

At Hyatt House Kanazawa, you can cook dinner, do a load of laundry, and still be about two minutes' walk from Kanazawa Station. The hotel is near the Kanazawa Port Exit on the station's west side, with studios and suites that provide space for eating and relaxing as well as sleeping.

The kitchen is especially welcome on a longer stay. You can alternate restaurant meals with food prepared in your room, then return to the station for a day trip or onward train.

Rooms

The 28-square-metre king room has a work area, microwave, and small refrigerator, but no kitchen. To cook in your room, choose the 41-square-metre Kitchen Studio, which has twin beds, a sofa bed, and a full kitchen with a refrigerator, microwave, rice cooker, and dishwasher.

The 53-square-metre Kitchen Suite separates the living room from the bedroom, so one person can turn in while another reads or watches television in the living room. The 54-square-metre Specialty Suite adds a washing machine.

Facilities

The gym and shared laundry room are open 24 hours, with washing and drying charged separately. You don't need to reserve the suite with a washing machine to do laundry during your stay.

The lobby lounge provides somewhere to relax outside your room.

Dining

The hotel's market is open 24 hours for snacks and groceries. It also sells light breakfast and brunch choices, including sandwiches, bagels, granola bowls, and salads. Its grab-and-go selection is available from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with complimentary coffee and soft drinks.

The lounge bar serves complimentary soft drinks and alcoholic drinks to staying guests from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. For a cooked meal, use the kitchen if your room has one or head to the restaurants around the station.

Location and transport

Use Kanazawa Station's west exit when arriving at the hotel. The short walk from the station is welcome with luggage and helps when an itinerary includes several stops around the Hokuriku region.

For sightseeing, cross through the station to the east exit. The Kanazawa Loop Bus departs from that side and serves Omicho Market and Kenrokuen Garden. Train travel is especially convenient from the hotel, but reaching the historic center requires a walk or bus ride.

Airport access

Komatsu Airport buses serve the west side of Kanazawa Station, close to the hotel. Airport arrivals can take a direct bus followed by a short walk, without transferring to a city bus.

For the return journey, buses leave from west-exit stop 3 and are scheduled to reach Komatsu Airport in about 45 minutes. Allow for traffic and check the departure time for your flight date.

Why stay here

A kitchen, living space, and laundry facilities give a longer visit more flexibility. You can prepare an unhurried meal after sightseeing, while Kanazawa Station remains close enough for an early departure the next morning.

Omicho Market is about a 15-minute walk from the station and sells seafood, vegetables, and other ingredients alongside ready-to-eat meals. A visit can mean lunch at the market or a chance to buy something to cook back at the hotel.
