Overview
Direct rail and subway routes run from Kinshicho toward both Tokyo Station and Tokyo Skytree. Keisei Richmond Hotel Tokyo Kinshicho is five minutes on foot from Kinshicho Station, giving guests a convenient starting point for central and eastern Tokyo.
All 175 rooms are non-smoking, but room choice matters more than the count. The larger twin categories accommodate up to three guests and separate the bath, toilet, and washbasin, a layout that can make sharing noticeably easier.
The hotel is south of the tracks in Tokyo-Kinshicho. Restaurants, shops, and cinemas fill the blocks around the station, while JR and the Hanzomon Line serve different parts of the city without requiring an initial transfer at a larger hub.
Rooms
Rooms range from 17 to 29 square metres. Moderate rooms measure 17 square metres, while Corner Superior rooms offer 20 square metres. Both are double rooms for one or two guests, with desks and combined bathrooms.
Twin and Corner Twin rooms measure 26 and 29 square metres respectively, and each can accommodate a third adult on an extra bed. Both separate the bath, toilet, and washbasin, which makes mornings easier when several people share a room. Universal Twin rooms measure 26 square metres, have an accessible layout, and use a combined bathroom. Simmons beds are fitted throughout.
Facilities
Coin laundry on the seventh floor is the main convenience for longer stays. Vending machines, ice, and a microwave are grouped on the second floor, while the lobby level has a currency-exchange machine.
Families can request children's amenities and selected loan items, including cribs and bed guards. Supplies are limited. Contact the hotel before arrival if a particular item is essential.
Dining
The paid breakfast buffet runs from 6:30 to 10:00, with last orders at 9:30. Freshly baked croissants and local chanko hotpot are recurring features, accompanied by daily dishes that change with the season.
For lunch and dinner, guests rely on the surrounding neighborhood. That isn't much of a drawback on Kinshicho's south side, where restaurants and evening venues cluster between the hotel and station.
Location and transport
The JR South Exit and Hanzomon Line Exits 1 and 2 are about five minutes away. From the JR exit, the route crosses a pedestrian bridge before continuing along the main road, a detail worth knowing when you're carrying heavy luggage.
JR Sobu Rapid trains reach Tokyo Station in about eight minutes, while local trains reach Akihabara in about six. The Hanzomon Line runs one stop to Oshiage for Tokyo Skytree and continues directly to Otemachi and Shibuya. Shinkansen journeys still require a transfer at Tokyo or another major station.
Airport access
Reserved buses connect Kinshicho Station with Narita Airport in roughly 60 minutes. The stop is at the station rather than the hotel, so allow time for the five-minute walk and possible road delays.
Selected JR Sobu Rapid trains also continue directly to Narita Airport, but not every departure does. Reaching Haneda Airport requires a rail transfer, and there is no hotel-door service.
Why stay here
Kinshicho's JR and subway routes simplify trips that combine central Tokyo, Tokyo Skytree, and the city's eastern districts. For three adults or a family, the larger twin rooms provide another clear advantage: an extra bed and divided bathroom reduce the compromises of sharing one room.
South of the station, Kinshicho has one of Sumida City's busiest concentrations of restaurants, shops, and nightlife. Kinshi Park is across the tracks, while Oshiage and Tokyo Skytree are one stop away on the Hanzomon Line.
Good to know
Check-in begins at 14:00 and check-out is at 11:00. Every guest room is non-smoking, with a designated smoking space on the first floor.
There is no dedicated hotel parking. Drivers need to use a nearby coin-operated car park.
