Overview
KOKO HOTEL Hakata Shinkansenguchi is located in Fukuoka-Hakata on the Chikushi Exit, or Shinkansen side, of Hakata Station. The property changed from Hotel Wing International Hakata Shinkansenguchi to the KOKO HOTEL brand on January 27, 2026, so older hotel references may still use the former name. It works best as a compact station-side base for travelers using Shinkansen, JR, subway, and bus connections through Hakata.
Rooms
The hotel has 109 non-smoking rooms. Single and Semi-Double rooms are 12 square meters with 140 cm beds, while Twin rooms are 17 square meters with two 100 cm beds. Room equipment covers practical stay basics, including free Wi-Fi, USB outlets, refrigerators, electric kettles, modular baths, toilets with washing functions, hair dryers, towels, nightwear, hangers, deodorizing spray, and slippers.

Location and transport
Hakata Station is the key transport anchor. The hotel is about four minutes on foot from the JR Hakata Station Shinkansen-side Chikushi Exit, about seven minutes from Hakata Bus Terminal, and about two minutes from Hakata Station East Exit 6 on the Fukuoka City Subway Airport Line. The Chikushi Exit location matters because the former Hotel Wing International Select Hakata Ekimae, now KOKO HOTEL Hakata Station, is on the opposite Hakata Exit side.
Airport access
Fukuoka Airport access is mainly by subway through Hakata Station rather than by hotel shuttle. The Fukuoka City Subway Airport Line takes about five minutes from Fukuoka Airport to Hakata Station, before the short walk from the station to the hotel.
