Overview
Nagoya Sakae Station's Exit 3 is about one minute from KOKO HOTEL Nagoya Sakae. Shopping, dinner, and evenings out are easy to plan from here. Department stores and underground arcades fill the surrounding Nagoya-Sakae district, while Oasis 21 is a short walk away.
Most Sakae plans don't require another train. Nagoya Station is two subway stops west, so Shinkansen connections remain manageable without placing the main station district at the center of every evening.
Rooms
All 204 rooms are non-smoking and divided among nine categories. Most are compact: the lineup begins with a 13-square-meter semi-double, while twin rooms range from 16 to 27 square meters.
For three guests, the 45-square-meter junior suite provides the most space. It adds a sofa bed and separates the washbasin, bathroom, and toilet. This gives a small group more breathing room than the standard unit-bath layouts.
Facilities
Services are modest but cover the needs of a short city stay. The front desk is staffed around the clock, and guests can use a shared microwave and ice machine. Paid laundry service is available on most weekdays.
A meeting room accommodates up to 28 people. It gives small business groups an on-site option without the scale of a large conference venue.
Dining
Breakfast at ALLY'S runs from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Its buffet has more than 50 items, including Western dishes, Japanese small plates, salads, and Nagoya specialties.
The morning meal is the focus of in-house dining. For lunch, dinner, and drinks, Sakae's department stores and surrounding streets offer a much broader selection.
Location and transport
Sakae Station serves the Higashiyama and Meijo subway lines. The Higashiyama Line reaches Nagoya Station in two stops for Shinkansen and regional rail connections, while the Meijo Line is convenient for central Nagoya trips, including Kanayama and Yabacho.
Sakaemachi Station on the Meitetsu Seto Line is also about one minute away, though it is a separate station with its own gates. Hisaya-odori Station is roughly five minutes on foot and provides another subway option at the district's northern end.
Airport access
The rail journey from Chubu Centrair International Airport requires a change at Kanayama, from a Meitetsu limited express to the Meijo Line for Sakae. The hotel estimates a total journey of about 55 minutes.
Centrair limousine buses also serve Sakae and Fushimi. The final walk from the Sakae bus terminal at Oasis 21 takes about five minutes. Neither route reaches the hotel door.
Why stay here
Days centered on Sakae begin easily here: the subway is close, shopping and meals don't require a return trip across town, and wider twins or the junior suite give small groups alternatives to compact doubles. If early Shinkansen departures dominate the itinerary, staying beside Nagoya Station removes the subway connection.
Sakae also has one of Nagoya's best-known landmark clusters. Oasis 21, Hisaya-odori Park, and Chubu Electric Power MIRAI TOWER bring shops, cafes, public spaces, and city views to the district's northern side.
Good to know
Despite the short walk, the hotel isn't directly connected to the station. Luggage storage is limited to check-in and check-out dates, and standard room cleaning takes place once every three days.
There is no parking inside the hotel. Nearby paid parking includes an affiliated car park, with terms handled through the front desk.
