Maihama View Hotel by HULIC

Overview

Maihama View Hotel by HULIC has 428 rooms designed with families and groups in mind. Separate bathing, toilet, and powder areas make sharing easier, while the circular building surrounds an 11-story atrium where daylight filters through a glass ceiling to the restaurants and promenade below.

Known as Tokyo Bay Maihama Hotel until October 1, 2025, the hotel is in the official hotel zone at Tokyo Disney Resort. Bayside Station is about eight minutes away on foot, and a free Disney Resort Cruiser covers the same short route. From there, the paid Disney Resort Line continues to both parks.

Rooms

Most Standard and Hearth rooms measure 32 or 35 square metres and accommodate three or four guests. When more than two people share a room, the additional guests sleep in regular beds rather than sofa beds. Connecting Standard rooms and the top-floor Japanese-style room expand the options for groups of up to six.

Every room has a bathing area with a washing space, separate toilet, and separate powder area. The two main beds are normally arranged together in a Hollywood-twin setup, but they can be separated on request. Bed guards, cots, children's nightwear, and other family items are available, although some need to be requested before arrival.

Hearth rooms occupy the 10th and 11th floors. Bay-facing and park-side categories are sold separately, but not every category guarantees a particular outlook. Check the exact room name when the view, capacity, or number of beds matters.

Facilities

Reserved for registered guests, Spa Rose has baths and saunas. The women's side includes a jet bath and mist sauna, while the men's side has a dry sauna and cold bath. Admission costs extra, and children must be at least four years old.

A second-floor coin laundry comes in handy after several park days. Shops within the hotel sell Disney merchandise, drinks, snacks, and basic children's supplies.

Dining

Fine Terrace serves breakfast and dinner beneath the atrium. Fantasy Dining offers another breakfast setting for eligible plans and operates as a cafe later in the day. Along the promenade, HoneyBee sells hotel-baked bread and takeaway items.

Breakfast arrangements and restaurant hours can vary by date. If an early park start shapes your morning, confirm the venue and whether breakfast is included in your plan.

Location and transport

Bayside Station is 450 metres away, or roughly an eight-minute walk. The free Disney Resort Cruiser takes about two to four minutes and is easier with luggage, a stroller, or poor weather. From Bayside, the paid monorail serves Tokyo Disneyland, Tokyo DisneySea, and Resort Gateway Station.

A separate free hotel bus reaches Maihama Station in about five minutes under normal traffic conditions. The stop can become crowded after the parks close, and schedules may change. Guests arriving by JR can also use the hotel counter at the Tokyo Disney Resort Welcome Center for check-in procedures and free luggage delivery during published service hours.

JR trains connect Maihama with Tokyo Station in about 15 minutes. The resort location simplifies park days, but trips elsewhere in Tokyo require returning through Maihama.

Airport access

Paid airport limousine buses connect the hotel with Haneda and Narita airports. The hotel estimates journeys of about 50 to 70 minutes from Haneda and 60 to 80 minutes from Narita, although traffic can lengthen either trip.

Check the current timetable, fare, and reservation rules before relying on the bus. Rail journeys from either airport require transfers before reaching Maihama, followed by the free hotel shuttle or the resort monorail via Bayside Station.

Why stay here

Separate bathroom areas, regular beds for third and fourth guests, and room configurations for up to six address several common challenges when a family shares one room. Coin laundry, on-site dining, and the optional spa also help with a multi-day park stay.

Ikspiari adds shopping and dining beside Maihama Station when you want time outside the park gates. If your itinerary focuses instead on neighborhoods and museums across Tokyo, a city hotel will involve less daily backtracking.

Good to know

The hotel isn't at either park entrance. Reaching both parks normally involves the paid Disney Resort Line from Bayside Station, even though the local buses to Bayside and Maihama are free.

Check-in begins at 15:00, and check-out is by 12:00. Spa Rose costs extra and is limited to registered guests aged four or older.
