For three guests, a 32.4-square-meter Superior King uses an additional daybed. Junior suites provide 54.9 square meters and accommodate up to four people, so groups should compare the sleeping arrangement as carefully as the floor area.

The basement communal bath is free for overnight guests. A separate private bath connects to its own living area beside a courtyard and can be reserved for up to four people. Book your room first, then arrange a two-hour bathing slot.
A fitness room and 24-hour coin laundry cover exercise and washing between sightseeing days. The hotel also provides a paid baggage-transfer service through the brand's hotel beside Kyoto Station. You can leave bags there before check-in or collect them there after checking out, avoiding an extra trip across town simply to drop them off.
Dining
The Italian restaurant serves homemade pasta and fresh cheese produced in the hotel's own cheese workshop. Breakfast combines a chosen main dish with a buffet of cheese and seasonal deli dishes.
Lunch, cafe service, and dinner are also available, with seating facing either the street or the courtyard. A small sake bar offers a more casual way to spend an evening in the building without committing to a full restaurant meal.
Location and transport
From Exit 5 of Karasuma Oike Station, the hotel is a short walk along the street rather than a direct station connection. The Karasuma Line runs south to Kyoto Station for Shinkansen and JR services. The intersecting Tozai Line handles east-west trips across the city, so either direction is available without changing subway lines first.
Airport access
From Kansai International Airport, take the Haruka limited express to Kyoto Station, then change to the Karasuma Line for Karasuma Oike. If you're carrying bulky luggage, a taxi from Kyoto Station avoids both the subway transfer and the final walk.
Why stay here
With both subway lines nearby, you can plan sightseeing across the city without relying on a single route. Staying here means a local journey after arriving at Kyoto Station, but brings you closer to the museums and streets around Sanjo.
The Museum of Kyoto gives the immediate neighborhood a clear cultural focus. Its exhibitions explore the city's history and culture, while the red-brick former bank building beside the main museum is worth seeing for its architecture.
Good to know
There is no hotel parking. If a private bath or an in-room washing machine matters to your stay, reserve the bathing slot after booking and select a washer-equipped room explicitly.
