Overview
The lobby begins on the 18th floor, with central Nagoya spread out below. Reception, the guest-only public bath, and The Living Room with SKY BAR share this level, while the rooms continue above. Depending on the window, views take in Nagoya Station, Nagoya Castle, or the TV Tower.
Nagoya Station is about five minutes away on foot from the Sakura-dori side. The hotel isn't inside the rail complex, though both street-level and underground approaches are available. Shinkansen and JR services are close, but the final walk and elevator ride still need to be factored into departure plans.
Rooms
Room choice starts with luggage. Standard doubles and queens measure 18.5 square meters, best suited to a solo stay or a couple traveling light. A 21.9-square-meter queen and several 24-square-meter king, queen, and twin layouts provide more room for bags and seating.
The 25.6-square-meter triple sleeps three. At the upper end, a 34-square-meter view-bath room and the 60-square-meter Junior Suite offer much more generous layouts. All rooms are non-smoking, but only selected categories fully separate the bath, toilet, and washroom, so compare the floor plans before booking.
Facilities
The 18th-floor public bath is free and reserved for overnight guests. It opens from the afternoon into the night and again in the morning, so there's time for a soak before an early departure. Towels aren't stocked in the bath area; bring them from your room.
Coin laundry is on the same floor. Reception can also hold luggage before check-in and until the end of your departure day, which helps when train times and hotel hours don't align.
Dining
Breakfast at The Living Room with SKY BAR is a Japanese and Western half-buffet with a choice of main dish. The menu draws on Aichi produce and Nagoya cooking, with limited-quantity hitsumabushi and dishes made with Nagoya Cochin eggs among the clearest local options.
The restaurant looks across the city from the 18th floor and continues with lunch, cafe service, dinner, and drinks. Later menus combine local ingredients with herbs and spices associated with the Eastern Mediterranean, giving the room a role beyond breakfast.
Location and transport
The five-minute approach is measured from the Sakura-dori side of JR Nagoya Station. Use the JR section for the Tokaido Shinkansen and conventional JR trains. Meitetsu, Kintetsu, and the city subway occupy adjoining but separate parts of the wider interchange.
That distinction matters with luggage. Meitetsu operates direct Centrair trains, Kintetsu serves routes toward Mie and Osaka, and the subway handles local trips through central Nagoya. Allow extra time if you need to cross between operators before beginning the walk to the hotel.
Airport access
From Chubu Centrair International Airport, the Meitetsu Mu-SKY limited express reaches Meitetsu Nagoya in about 35 minutes. The hotel isn't connected to the Meitetsu platforms, so the journey ends with a walk through the station area.
From Nagoya Airport, the limousine bus takes about 35 minutes to the Midland Square Front stop. The stop is on the same side of the rail hub as the hotel, followed by a short walk.
Why stay here
An early Shinkansen departure or a day of regional rail travel is easier with JR Nagoya five minutes away. Back at the hotel, the public bath and high-floor common spaces give the evening more shape than a simple room near the station. The tradeoff is a genuine walk from the rail complex and compact entry-level rooms.
The surrounding Nagoya Station Area keeps meals, shopping, and everyday errands close, particularly in its department stores and underground arcades. For a longer break between trains, Noritake Garden and the Toyota Commemorative Museum of Industry and Technology are within walking distance of the wider district.
Good to know
Reception is on the 18th floor rather than at street level. Allow time for the elevator before an early train, and remember that the hotel doesn't have its own parking.
Guests must carry towels from their rooms to the public bath. The 18.5-square-meter entry rooms can also feel tight with several large suitcases, so a larger category may be worth the difference on a luggage-heavy trip.
