Overview
Miyako Hotel Hakata is connected directly to Hakata Station’s East 7 exit on the Chikushi Exit side, placing the Shinkansen gates, JR lines, and Fukuoka City Subway Airport Line close at hand. It works well for travelers who want the convenience of a station-connected hotel with more room to relax, on-site dining, and rooftop hot spring facilities.
Rooms
Guest rooms start at more than 30 square meters and include full-height windows, bathrooms with separate washing areas, and beds developed with Sealy. Options include double and twin rooms, terrace rooms, an accessible twin room, and suites, giving guests more room to unpack than at many basic hotels around the station.
Facilities
SPA lucida is on the top floor and includes indoor natural hot spring baths along with an outdoor spa area that also uses hot spring water. Hotel guests can use the area at no extra charge, including the pool, jet bath, mini-pool, and sauna facilities. On-site parking is limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
Dining
Le Ciel Bleu on the 13th floor serves breakfast, lunch, dinner, and drinks in a glass-lined dining room. TTT Cafe on the 3rd floor is the more casual option, with cafe service, light meals, and afternoon tea.
Location and transport
The hotel connects to Hakata Station at East 7, about one minute on foot from the Chikushi Exit side. The surrounding Fukuoka-Hakata area is especially convenient for Shinkansen departures, airport subway access, station shopping, and Kyushu rail travel. Tenjin is the better comparison for travelers who prefer the city’s larger shopping and evening dining core.
Airport access
From Fukuoka Airport, the Fukuoka City Subway Airport Line reaches Hakata in about five minutes, and the East 7 exit then leads straight to the hotel. Taxis and buses are available from the airport as well, but the hotel’s main airport advantage is the quick subway ride and station connection rather than a door-to-door shuttle.
Why stay here
Choose it when Hakata Station is central to your trip but you want the stay to feel more comfortable than a simple overnight beside the station. It is particularly well suited to airport arrivals, Shinkansen departures, Kyushu rail itineraries, and travelers who value larger rooms and rooftop spa access without giving up the station location.
