Overview

OMO3 Asakusa by Hoshino Resorts is located in Tokyo-Asakusa, close to Sensoji, Kaminarimon, and the Sumida River. It is well suited to travelers who want to enjoy Asakusa beyond the busiest sightseeing hours, with a top-floor lounge offering views toward Sensoji and Tokyo Skytree. The location also keeps airport rail links and Tobu services within easy reach.

Rooms

The hotel has 98 rooms in one building, with layouts for one to four guests. Options include twin-style rooms, larger room types, the Yose Twin concept room inspired by Asakusa performance culture, and Deluxe Quad rooms for groups of up to four. Rooms are arranged so guests can take off their shoes indoors, a small comfort that can make a compact city stay feel more relaxed.

Facilities

The 13th-floor OMO Base serves as the main lounge and viewing space. Facilities also include lockers, a Smart Laundry Room, microwave, iron, water server, ice maker, and rooftop terrace. The hotel does not provide shuttle service or parking, so most guests will arrive by rail, bus, taxi, or on foot from the Asakusa Station area.

Dining

Dining centers on the 24-hour OMO Food & Drink Station, a self-service option for meals, snacks, drinks, and local Asakusa items. In the morning, guests can pick up choices such as rice balls and bread from the neighborhood, along with local options including Fukujuya inari sushi. It works well for travelers who plan to eat around Asakusa but still want simple food and drinks available at the hotel at any hour.

Location and transport

Sensoji is about one minute away on foot. Rail access is spread across several entrances: about four minutes to Exit 7 on the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line, about six minutes to Exit A5 on the Toei Asakusa Line, and about eight minutes to Tsukuba Express Asakusa Station Exit A1. The Ginza Line works well for Ueno and Ginza, the Toei Asakusa Line is the main route for airport rail access, and Tobu Railway is useful for trips to Tokyo Skytree, Nikko, and Kinugawa.

Airport access

Haneda Airport can be reached directly by rail via Keikyu Airport Line services that continue onto the Toei Asakusa Line to Asakusa Station. The hotel also notes limousine bus access from Haneda Airport to the Asakusa View Hotel stop, followed by a walk. For Narita Airport, the main option is direct rail through Keisei Narita Sky Access services and the Asakusa station network, rather than hotel-door bus service.

Why stay here

Choose OMO3 Asakusa by Hoshino Resorts if your Tokyo stay centers on Sensoji, Kaminarimon, Sumida River walks, local Asakusa food, and Tobu day trips beyond central Tokyo. It is especially strong for an Asakusa-focused trip with airport rail access, rather than for travelers who need to stay right by Tokyo Station or a west-side Tokyo hub.

Good to know

Asakusa has multiple rail operators and separate station entrances, and the hotel is near the station area rather than directly connected to it. If you are traveling with luggage, check whether your route uses Tokyo Metro, Toei, Tobu, or Tsukuba Express before choosing an exit. Travelers arriving on long-distance JR services at Tokyo Station should plan on a local rail or bus transfer before the final walk to the hotel.
