Piazza Hotel Nara is a one-minute walk from the West Exit plaza at JR Nara Station, taking much of the strain out of arriving with luggage. Kintetsu Nara Station is about 12 minutes away. Naramachi and Nara Park are farther east, so a sightseeing day usually begins with a walk, bus, or taxi ride.
This location favors early trains and rail day trips to Kyoto or Osaka over a park-side setting. Hotels around Kintetsu Nara are closer to many of the main sights.

Japanese-design doubles and twins offer a different style, and the 65.6-square-metre suite is the largest option. Twin layouts vary considerably, so check the exact bed setup and floor plan when booking for more than two people.
Facilities
The fitness room is free for hotel guests aged 18 and over and remains open around the clock. Paid laundry is also available 24 hours, so you can work out or wash clothes after a late return.
A ground-floor Lawson operates 24 hours for drinks, snacks, and everyday supplies. Ice machines are available on the guest floors.

Location and transport
The hotel is on the west side of the JR Nara Station Area. JR trains run toward Kyoto and Osaka, while buses and taxis from the station's east side continue toward Nara Park and the temple district.
Sanjo-dori leads east toward central Nara and Naramachi. The walk is manageable, but Kintetsu Nara is closer to many park-side sights. Local buses can help in hot weather or when you'd rather save your energy for sightseeing.
Airport access
Limousine buses connect JR Nara Station's East Exit directly with Kansai International Airport. The service doesn't pick up at the hotel, so guests staying on the west side must cross through the station to reach the bus stop.
Check the current timetable and reservation rules before travel. Buses run at set times rather than continuously.
Why stay here
The one-minute walk from JR Nara Station matters most when you're carrying luggage, catching an early train, or planning day trips to Kyoto and Osaka. Round-the-clock laundry and the ground-floor Lawson also ease a short, busy stay. For the quickest approach to Nara Park, however, the Kintetsu Nara side has the advantage.
Sightseeing begins east of the station. Sanjo-dori leads toward Naramachi's merchant streets, cafes, and craft shops, while local buses continue to Nara Park's deer lawns and temple routes.
