REGIONIA by Quintessa Sapporo Sta Front is about six minutes on foot from Sapporo Station, with direct airport trains and JR services across Hokkaido close at hand. The Namboku and Toho subway stations are nearer, at about three minutes away. Both city sightseeing and longer rail days are easy to plan from here.
On the eastern side of the Sapporo Station Area, the hotel lies between the rail district and central sights. Odori Park and Sapporo TV Tower are about nine minutes away on foot, while Sapporo Clock Tower is about ten minutes away. That balance is the main appeal.
Rooms
The hotel's 175 rooms range from a compact 13-square-meter Standard Double to a 50-square-meter Premium Triple, with other twin and triple categories in between. Several larger layouts accommodate four to six guests, giving families and small groups more flexibility than the smallest room suggests.
Check the bed setup, not just the stated capacity. Some higher-occupancy rooms use sofa beds or an extra bed, and the difference between 13 and 50 square meters will significantly affect how comfortably guests and luggage fit.
Facilities
Four coin-operated laundry machines on the third floor are helpful during longer stays. A microwave and ice machine on the second floor cover simple food and drink needs. Check-in starts at 15:00, and checkout is at 11:00. The setup is modest.
Dining
Breakfast is the hotel's clearest signature. From 7:00 to 10:00, live counters prepare sushi and teppan dishes such as jingisukan and beef. At a separate ramen station, guests can combine three soups, two noodle types, and their preferred toppings.

Location and transport
JR services from Sapporo Station cover direct airport trains, trips toward Otaru, and longer journeys across Hokkaido. The Namboku and Toho subway lines both run one stop south to Odori, while several central sights are already within walking distance.
The hotel isn't connected to the JR or subway concourse. The shortest published approach is about three minutes from Exit 3 of the Namboku Line station, compared with about six minutes from JR services. That distinction matters in winter, particularly with luggage on snowy or wet streets.
Airport access
JR Airport trains run directly from New Chitose Airport to Sapporo Station, with the fastest service taking about 33 minutes. Rapid and semi-rapid trains have different stopping patterns and longer journey times, so check the service before boarding.
The train journey ends at Sapporo Station, not at the hotel door. Allow extra time for the final walk when bad weather or heavy bags make the street-level approach slower.
Why stay here
Airport arrivals, JR day trips, and central Sapporo sightseeing come together neatly here. Sapporo Station remains close, the subway is closer, and the larger twin and triple rooms give groups a realistic alternative to booking several compact doubles.
The surrounding area also rewards walking. Sapporo Clock Tower introduces the city's early history, while Odori Park brings green space and seasonal events into the central business district. Sapporo TV Tower marks the park's eastern end, so even an arrival or departure day can include recognizable city sights.
Good to know
The words "Sta Front" in the name don't indicate an inside-station or directly connected location. Room capacity may also include sofa beds or an extra bed, so confirm the exact sleeping arrangement before booking for four to six guests.
