Overview

SAPPORO STREAM HOTEL is located in COCONO SUSUKINO, in the heart of Sapporo’s main dining and nightlife district. The hotel connects directly to Susukino Station on the Namboku Line, making it especially convenient for evenings in Sapporo-Susukino and subway-based travel around the city, rather than for staying next to the JR rail gateway.

Rooms

Rooms are offered in Superior, Superior+, Deluxe, Premium, Universal, and Suite categories. Compact doubles start at around 17 to 18 square meters, while larger premium rooms and suites extend up to 91.5 square meters. Some connecting rooms are available on request, all rooms are non-smoking, and a limited number of Superior+ Family Deluxe Twin rooms can accommodate up to four guests.

Facilities

The hotel provides an information area with luggage storage, along with a fitness room, coin laundry, and vending facilities on the eighth floor. Overnight guests can also use the rooftop terrace. Premium-category stays include access to the 18th-floor premium lounge, while eligible Premium and Deluxe categories add use of the top-floor spa and sauna, with separate large baths.

Dining

Dining is centered on BAR & GRILL Splish. Breakfast is served as a Hokkaido-focused buffet, and the restaurant also offers lunch, dinner, and bar service. The cafe and bar area serves sweets, light meals, grilled dishes, coffee, tea, Hokkaido wines, and whiskeys, giving guests more on-site dining flexibility than a minimal station-side hotel.

Location and transport

The hotel’s main transport advantage is its direct connection to Susukino Station Exit 5. From Susukino, the Namboku Line reaches Sapporo Station in about four minutes, with Odori in between. The Sapporo Streetcar’s Susukino stop is also about one minute away, which is useful for local trips around the southwest side of central Sapporo.

Airport access

Access to New Chitose Airport requires a transfer. The clearest rail route is the JR Rapid Airport service to Sapporo Station, followed by the Namboku Line to Susukino. JR lists the airport-to-Sapporo rail segment at about 33 to 41 minutes, while hotel guidance puts the full rail and subway route at about one hour. This is not a hotel-door airport limousine bus setup.

Why stay here

SAPPORO STREAM HOTEL is a strong fit for travelers who want Susukino restaurants, nightlife, COCONO SUSUKINO, and direct subway access in the same building. Choose it for central evenings and convenient subway travel; compare it with hotels near Sapporo Station if JR departures, airport trains, or luggage-heavy transfers are the main priority.

Good to know

The hotel does not have its own dedicated parking lot. Affiliated COCONO SUSUKINO parking and nearby partner parking are available without advance reservations. Lounge, spa, and sauna access depends on the room category, so check the details before booking if those facilities are important.
