Transport access and hotel guide

Overview

Reception at THE KNOT HIROSHIMA is on the 14th floor, beside a rooftop bar overlooking central Hiroshima and Peace Memorial Park. Guest rooms occupy the floors below in a building facing Peace Boulevard in Otemachi, about three minutes on foot from both Chuden-mae Station and Fukuro-machi Station.

High-floor social spaces and a walkable sightseeing location define the stay. Hiroshima-Peace Boulevard is just outside, while Hiroshima Station is a direct streetcar ride away rather than a short walk.

Rooms

The hotel has 201 rooms. Compact Standard Queen and Twin rooms begin the range, while Superior King, Twin, and Triple categories provide more space and views of Peace Boulevard or the tram-lined street. Deluxe Twin rooms have a panoramic outlook over the boulevard side.

Bathroom layouts vary by category. Standard rooms have unit baths, while Superior and Deluxe rooms separate the bath and toilet. Triple rooms use three full beds instead of a sofa bed. This gives three guests a more straightforward sleeping arrangement.

Facilities

A coin laundry on the second floor is handy for longer stays, and Wi-Fi is available throughout the building. All guest rooms are non-smoking, with a designated smoking room on the 14th floor.

The mechanical car park has 20 spaces, including 10 for high-roof vehicles. Parking is first come, has vehicle-size limits, and can't be reserved, so drivers should have a nearby alternative in mind.

Dining

MORETHAN serves breakfast, lunch, cafe dishes, and dinner on the ground floor. Breakfast runs from 7:00 to 10:00, while the later menus focus on pizza, pasta, charcoal-grilled dishes, and natural wine.

On the 14th floor, Kei combines a bar with a rooftop terrace. Afternoon and evening service runs from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Drinks and small plates come with music and city views. Guests can start the day with breakfast downstairs and return for a relaxed evening beside reception.

Location and transport

Chuden-mae and Fukuro-machi are each about three minutes away on foot. Both stops are on the same streetcar corridor, where route 1 runs directly to Hiroshima Station and south toward Hiroshima Port. Routes 3 and 7 also serve the central corridor through Hondori.

Peace Memorial Park is within walking distance to the west. Hondori and Fukuromachi's dining streets are to the north. This places the hotel between the memorial district and the busier downtown side of central Hiroshima.

Airport access

From Hiroshima Airport, the published route uses the limousine bus to Hiroshima Bus Center. The bus journey takes about 55 minutes, followed by a walk of roughly 10 minutes to the hotel.

This isn't a hotel-door airport stop. Allow time for the final outdoor walk and for finding the correct bus platform on departure day.

Why stay here

Two nearby tram stops simplify central Hiroshima sightseeing, while the rooftop outlook and all-day restaurant make time at the hotel more appealing. The tradeoff is a local ride from Hiroshima Station and a separate walk to the airport bus.

Peace Boulevard leads west toward the museum and memorials in Peace Memorial Park. To the north, Fukuromachi and Hondori turn the evening toward dining, drinks, and shopping.

Good to know

Check-in begins at 3:00 PM, and checkout is by 11:00 AM. Reception is on the 14th floor rather than at street level.

Neither streetcar stop is connected to the hotel, and both approaches are outdoors. Parking is limited and first come, so arriving by rail or bus is easier when a guaranteed parking space matters.
