Overview
Tokyo Tower or Hama-rikyu Gardens can fill the window, but the room category determines the view. The Royal Park Hotel Iconic Tokyo Shiodome occupies the upper part of Shiodome Tower, with reception on the 24th floor and guest rooms from floors 26 to 38. Rooms facing Nippon Television Tower may have a partly obstructed outlook.
Getting there is simpler than the high-rise setting might suggest. Shiodome Station is about one minute away, while Shimbashi Station is roughly three minutes from the JR Shiodome Exit or Toei Asakusa Line and about five minutes from the Ginza Line. An underground passage through Shiodome Sio-Site keeps most of the approach sheltered.
Rooms
Economy doubles measure about 20 to 22 square metres, using the compact space for a writing desk, window bench, and modular bathroom. Standard twin, king, and double rooms are about 26 square metres and have a bath with a separate washing area. An accessible superior twin is also available.
Premium rooms range from about 20 to 57 square metres, broadly matching the standard floors in size but adding Executive Lounge access. Executive rooms occupy the 38th floor, where ceilings rise to 3.2 metres. The largest suites measure 77.1 square metres and sleep up to four. Bath layouts and views vary by category, so check the room plan before booking.
Facilities
The 38th-floor Executive Lounge is reserved for Premium and Executive guests. Breakfast, daytime refreshments, and evening cocktails are served with wide views toward Hama-rikyu Gardens and Tokyo Bay. Guests who choose breakfast at All-Day Dining HARMONY instead pay an additional charge.
A small gym on basement level two is free and open 24 hours. There are no changing rooms, showers, or rental clothes, so you'll need to bring a towel from your room. Coin laundry, ice, and vending machines are grouped on the 26th floor.
Dining
All-Day Dining HARMONY is the main breakfast venue on the 24th floor and also serves lunch and dinner. Bar & Lounge THE BAR shares the same floor, while OSHIMA SHIMBASHI SHIODOME serves Kaga cuisine one level above. At street level, CHAYA Macrobiotics offers plant-focused cafe dishes and weekday breakfast.
Location and transport
Shiodome is the closest station. The Toei Oedo Line runs directly to Roppongi and Shinjuku, while the Yurikamome travels through Odaiba and Ariake to Toyosu. The two services use separate gates and platforms.
Shimbashi adds JR lines, the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line, and the Toei Asakusa Line. That broader network helps with trips across central Tokyo and journeys to Haneda Airport. Reaching the Shinkansen requires a connection at Tokyo or Shinagawa.
Airport access
A scheduled limousine bus runs directly between Narita Airport and the hotel in roughly 90 to 120 minutes. It can simplify the journey with luggage when its limited timetable suits your flight, although road traffic may affect travel time.
From Haneda Airport, allow about 40 minutes by rail before the short walk from Shimbashi. One route uses Keikyu and the Toei Asakusa Line via Shinagawa; another takes the Tokyo Monorail with a change at Hamamatsucho. Neither provides a hotel-door transfer.
Why stay here
A mostly sheltered approach, high-floor views, and two nearby stations shape the appeal. Shiodome is convenient for the waterfront and Oedo Line, while Shimbashi provides the broader all-round rail network. Premium and Executive bookings add lounge access; standard rooms retain the same location without that extra service.
Hama-rikyu Gardens brings an Edo-period landscape and tidal pond into the tower district below. Across the railway, Shimbashi has narrow lanes filled with casual restaurants and standing bars, while the giant Ghibli-designed clock at Nippon Television is also close to the hotel.
Good to know
All-Day Dining HARMONY is closed for renovation through September 4, 2026, with breakfast served instead in the 25th-floor Shiosai banquet room. THE BAR is closed through noon on August 25. Underground parking is public rather than hotel-operated, and spaces cannot be reserved in advance.
