Shin-Yokohama Station provides Tokaido Shinkansen service toward Tokyo, Nagoya, Kyoto, and Shin-Osaka. Local connections include the JR Yokohama Line, Yokohama Municipal Subway Blue Line, Tokyu Shin-Yokohama Line, and Sotetsu Shin-Yokohama Line.
The Blue Line reaches Yokohama Station in about 11 minutes, so central Yokohama remains manageable for sightseeing or appointments. Minato Mirai, Chinatown, and the waterfront take longer to reach than they would from a hotel in central Yokohama.
Yokohama Arena is the closest convenient event venue. The Shin-Yokohama Ramen Museum is another easy local stop, while Nissan Stadium is farther away across the wider district.
Airport access
Direct buses leave Shin-Yokohama Station for both Haneda and Narita airports. They depart from the station bus terminal rather than the hotel, so allow time for the five-minute walk and boarding. Narita services are less frequent, and reservations are required for buses heading to the airport.
Why stay here
An early Shinkansen, late rail arrival, or Yokohama Arena event becomes easier with the station only five minutes away. Breakfast from 6:30 also keeps the morning routine predictable.
The surrounding Shin-Yokohama Station Area is Yokohama's high-speed rail and event district. Yokohama Arena, the Shin-Yokohama Ramen Museum, and the shops and restaurants in Cubic Plaza are all easy to visit between journeys.

Toyoko Inn Shin-yokohama Ekimae Honkan and Toyoko Inn Shin-yokohama Ekimae Shinkan are separate nearby hotels. Check that your map points to Honkan before setting out. Drivers should also confirm their parking reservation because only four spaces are available.
