Direct Hokuriku Shinkansen trains serve Fukui, Kanazawa, and Tokyo. For Kyoto and Osaka, take the Thunderbird limited express; Shirasagi trains connect with Maibara and Nagoya.
Airport access
From Komatsu Airport, take the bus to Komatsu Station and change to the Hokuriku Shinkansen for Tsuruga. The bus ride takes about 12 minutes. Check the train connection separately and allow for waiting time.
