APA Hotel Keisei Ueno Ekimae Minami opened on August 12, 2026, in the Ueno district of Taito Ward, Tokyo. The new 14-story hotel has 342 non-smoking guest rooms and is the eighth APA Hotel in the Ueno area and the nineteenth in Taito Ward.
The hotel is within a six-minute walk of seven stations serving 12 rail and subway lines. Ueno-Hirokoji Station on the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line and Ueno-okachimachi Station on the Toei Oedo Line are both one minute away on foot. Keisei Ueno Station is a five-minute walk, while JR Ueno Station is six minutes away.
Guest rooms include Standard Rooms, sofa-equipped Cozy Rooms, and Deluxe Twin Rooms. Each room has a television measuring at least 50 inches, free Wi-Fi 6, USB Type-A and Type-C charging ports, and a universal power outlet. The in-room APA Digital Information system supports Japanese, English, Korean, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese. Hotel signs use a collection of 565 pictograms.
The fourteenth floor contains a communal indoor bath and open-air bath, both free for staying guests. An observation terrace on the same floor overlooks Shinobazu Pond. The floor also has two coin-operated laundry machines, vending machines, a microwave, and an ice machine. The washing cycle on the new laundry machines has been shortened from approximately 31 minutes to about 16 minutes.
A first-floor restaurant, Sakaba Hakozaki Ueno Hirokoji, serves breakfast from 7:00 to 10:00, with last orders at 9:30. Guests can choose among seafood, Japanese, and Western breakfast sets, priced at 2,400 yen. The first floor also contains an amenity bar, while free water dispensers are available on every guest floor except the first.
