Overview
Just two minutes from Kamata Station's East Exit, Grand Park Hotel Panex Tokyo keeps JR and Tokyu trains and scheduled buses to Haneda close at hand. It works particularly well for a short city stay, an easy rail arrival, or a first or last night near the airport without staying at an airport terminal.
Rooms are mostly compact, but breakfast, self-service laundry, and steam clothing-care machines cover everyday needs. Keikyu Kamata is also within walking distance, though it is separate from Kamata Station. The distinction matters if you plan to use the Airport Line.

The hotel has 132 rooms across seven single, double, and twin-based layouts. Most measure 12 to 15 square meters, while the largest layouts provide 24 square meters.
The Deluxe Twin has a separate bath and toilet. Triple rooms use two fixed beds and a sofa bed for the third guest. Smoking and non-smoking rooms are available, but not in every category; notably, the regular Twin is listed as smoking-only. Check the room designation before booking.
Facilities
Three washers and three dryers on the first floor help with longer stays. Two LG Styler units provide steam clothing care, which can be handy after a flight or a day of meetings.
Sofas and tables furnish the lobby, and a shared computer and printer support simple travel or business tasks. The facilities are modest, but they're focused on the everyday needs of a compact city stay.
Dining
Breakfast is served at Felice on the first floor. Its Japanese-Western buffet has about 30 dishes and runs from 6:30 to 9:30, with last orders at 9:00.
It's a straightforward start before a train journey, flight, or workday. If you're leaving especially early, check that the opening time fits your plans.
Location and transport
Kamata Station is two minutes away via the East Exit. JR Keihin-Tohoku Line trains run directly toward Shinagawa and central Tokyo in one direction, and Kawasaki and Yokohama in the other. The Tokyu Ikegami and Tamagawa lines provide local connections across southwestern Tokyo.
Keikyu Kamata Station is about 11 minutes away via its West Exit. Direct Keikyu Airport Line trains run from there to Haneda Airport, but this is a separate station rather than an interchange within the JR and Tokyu complex.
Airport access
Scheduled Keikyu Bus services depart from Kamata Station's East Exit for all three Haneda Airport terminals. The hotel estimates a journey of about 20 minutes, but this is a paid public bus rather than a hotel-operated shuttle, and road traffic can add time.
Direct Airport Line trains leave from Keikyu Kamata. That option avoids road delays, though reaching the station requires the separate 11-minute walk from the hotel. The bus has the nearer departure point; the train provides the more predictable journey once aboard.
Why stay here
The two-minute walk from Kamata Station, early breakfast, and choice between a public airport bus and a direct airport train simplify a short business visit or a first or last night around Haneda. Compared with staying at the airport, Kamata also retains direct JR links to central Tokyo and Yokohama.
Restaurants and everyday shops line the streets around Kamata Station. Ota City is also known for its black-water public baths, offering interested travelers a distinctly local way to unwind. These neighborhood baths are independent businesses, not hotel facilities.
Good to know
Kamata Station and Keikyu Kamata Station are separate. The hotel is beside the JR and Tokyu station, while direct Haneda trains depart from Keikyu Kamata farther east.
There is no hotel car park, although paid public parking is available nearby. Smoking status varies by room type, so check the selected category rather than assuming the entire hotel is non-smoking.
