Overview
Opening on February 26, 2027, Mitsui Garden Hotel Osaka Dojimahama PREMIER will occupy floors 25 to 31 of a riverfront tower in central Osaka. Guest rooms will rise above the restaurant, lounge, and terrace level, with the Dojima River just outside.
The hotel is on the southern edge of Osaka-Umeda, close to Kitashinchi and across the river from Nakanoshima. Watanabebashi Station is about three minutes away on foot, while JR Osaka Station requires a longer walk north.
Rooms
The 220 rooms will occupy floors 26 to 31, with sizes ranging from 25.3 to 65 square meters. King and twin layouts will make up most of the selection. On the top floor, two 65-square-meter Junior Suite Corner Twins will feature balconies and baths overlooking the Dojima River.
The category will shape the experience. Selected rooms will have balconies and baths with views, while others will face Osaka Station instead of the river. Kings with daybeds and deluxe corner rooms will accommodate up to three guests, and connecting options and accessible doubles will also be available. If the river view matters to you, check the specific room description before booking.
Facilities
A 25th-floor terrace will overlook the Dojima River. On the same level, the guest-only lounge will offer complimentary coffee and tea, private rooms, and space to work or relax.
The lounge is planned to open from 6:00 until midnight. A fitness room with city views and a laundry room will also be available.
Dining
BABEL will combine a steak-led grill restaurant, wine bar, and wine shop on the 25th floor. Guests will be able to dine on the terrace or in the two-story dining room, with service from breakfast through dinner.
Breakfast is planned for 7:00 to 10:30, pairing a choice of main dish with a salad and fruit buffet. Japanese dishes and a vegan main will be among the options. In the evening, the bar will serve wine and cocktails, and sampled bottles can be purchased from the adjoining shop.
Location and transport
Watanabebashi is the closest rail stop, served by the Keihan Nakanoshima Line. Kitashinchi is about five minutes away for the JR Tozai Line, while Nishi-Umeda is around six minutes away for the Yotsubashi Line. Direct subway trains from Nishi-Umeda run toward Hommachi and Namba.
The Osaka Station / Umeda complex is about an eleven-minute walk from the hotel. JR trains from there are the main option for trips toward Kyoto and Kobe, while Shinkansen services depart from Shin-Osaka. About ten minutes from the hotel, Yodoyabashi Station provides a direct Midosuji Line ride to Shin-Osaka.
Airport access
Direct Haruka trains connect Kansai International Airport with JR Osaka Station. From there, continue to the hotel on foot or by taxi.
From Osaka Itami Airport, limousine buses reach the Osaka Station and Umeda area in about 30 minutes before the final local journey. Check the specific bus stop and allow for road delays, especially if you're carrying luggage or connecting with a flight.
Why stay here
The riverside location keeps Nakanoshima within walking distance, while nearby Watanabebashi provides Keihan rail access. If you're planning frequent JR trips, weigh the eleven-minute walk to Osaka Station against evenings on a private balcony or the shared river-facing terrace.
Across the river, the Nakanoshima Museum of Art and the island's waterfront give the neighborhood a focus beyond Umeda shopping. An exhibition visit or a walk beside the water won't require centering every outing on the main station district.
Good to know
Reservations are open for stays from February 26, 2027. Standard check-in will begin at 15:00, with check-out at noon. Parking requires an advance reservation.
Mitsui Garden Hotel Osaka Dojimahama PREMIER is separate from Mitsui Garden Hotel Osaka Premier in Nakanoshima. Check the Dojimahama name and address when booking, since both hotels belong to the same brand and are near the same river.
