Overview
Motto by Hilton Kyoto Shijo Karasuma is planned for Kyoto Shijo-Karasuma, bringing Hilton's compact lifestyle brand to Japan for the first time. Heiwa Real Estate is developing the hotel, with Hilton expected to begin operating it during Japan's 2029 fiscal year.

The ten-story hotel is planned to have 108 guest rooms. Detailed room categories and layouts haven't yet been announced.
Dining
Plans include an all-day dining restaurant and a lounge with an open terrace. Further operating details haven't yet been published.
Location and transport
The site is about two minutes on foot from Shijo Station on the Kyoto Municipal Subway Karasuma Line and Karasuma Station on the Hankyu Kyoto Line. Nishiki Market and Shijo Kawaramachi are accessible from this central Kyoto location, while Gion and Higashiyama are farther east.
Why stay here
Two nearby rail lines should support trips that combine central Kyoto sightseeing, shopping, and business appointments. The Shijo-Karasuma location is the project's clearest draw.
