Overview
Choose Fuji-Q Highland Station when the amusement park, nearby hotels, Fujiyama Onsen, or other park-side attractions are the focus of your visit. Located in the Fuji-Q Highland Area near the boundary of Fujiyoshida and Fujikawaguchiko, it is the closest rail stop to Fuji-Q Highland, with the park entrance immediately outside the ticket gate.
The station is small, but its location makes it one of the easiest rail access points for this side of the Fuji Five Lakes area. It also saves you from continuing all the way to Kawaguchiko Station if your plans are centered on the amusement park or accommodation beside it.
Lines and connections
Fuji-Q Highland Station is on the Fujikyuko Line. From the Tokyo side, a common route is to travel to Otsuki, then change to the Fujikyuko Line toward Fujisan, Fuji-Q Highland, and Kawaguchiko.
Trains continue onward to Kawaguchiko, so the stop can still work well for itineraries that combine Fuji-Q Highland with Lake Kawaguchi. If you are traveling with luggage, compare the train route with highway bus options before choosing how to arrive.
Bus service is an important part of getting around this area. Highway buses use the terminal in the parking lot of the adjacent Highland Resort Hotel & Spa, with direct routes from Tokyo-area terminals, Haneda Airport, Shizuoka, Nagoya, Kyoto, Osaka, and other points.
Local buses and free loop buses also stop around the park area. If you are counting on an evening or late connection, check the current timetable in advance; the free loop bus schedule was revised on April 1, 2026.
