What this station is useful for

Overview

Keisei Narita is the Keisei city-side station for central Narita and the closest rail anchor for many hotels east of the tracks. It is useful when a stay depends on Keisei airport rail, Naritasan Shinshoji, Omotesando, or directions that specifically name the Keisei stop rather than JR Narita.

Lines and connections

The station is on the Keisei Main Line and is listed by Keisei as KS40. Narita Airport rail guidance places Keisei Narita on the Keisei Main Line route between the airport terminal stations and Tokyo-side stops such as Nippori and Keisei Ueno.

Keisei also lists JR Narita Line transfer access from the station. For visitors, that means the Keisei and JR stations are close enough to compare, but still separate enough that the operator matters.

Airport access

Keisei Narita is useful for rail access between central Narita and Narita Airport. It is not one of the airport terminal stations, so travelers should distinguish it from Narita Airport Station and Airport Terminal 2 Building Station when buying tickets or following hotel directions.

Station area

The station area has hotels, restaurants, local services, and routes toward Omotesando and Naritasan Shinshoji. Richmond Hotel Narita directions use the East Exit side, which makes exit choice relevant for luggage-heavy arrivals.

Good to know

Keisei Narita and JR Narita are separate stations. If an itinerary only says Narita Station, check whether it means Keisei or JR before choosing a route, meeting point, or hotel approach.
