Overview
MIMARU Osaka Shinsaibashi Central is two minutes on foot from Exit 7 of Shinsaibashi Station, on the Amerikamura side of Osaka-Shinsaibashi. Its apartments accommodate four or six guests, while Shinsaibashi-suji Shopping Street is about a five-minute walk away.
Rooms
One-bedroom family apartments measure 40 to 42 square meters and sleep four, with two single beds and a bunk bed. For groups wanting more privacy, two-bedroom family apartments sleep six in four single beds and a bunk bed. These larger apartments measure 60 to 61 square meters and have both a bathroom and an additional shower room.
The 40-square-meter Two-Bunkbed Apartment takes a different approach. It sleeps four in two bunk beds, and two shower rooms let two guests shower at once. There isn't a bathtub, so families who want one should choose another room category.
Facilities
Every apartment has its own washer-dryer, eliminating the wait for a shared laundry machine. Free luggage storage is available from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM on arrival and departure days, subject to space.
Dining
There is no restaurant or breakfast service. Instead, each apartment has a kitchen with an induction hob, microwave, refrigerator, cookware, and a dining table. Guests can make breakfast before heading out or bring dinner back from the neighborhood.
Location and transport
The Midosuji Line connects Shinsaibashi directly with Umeda and Shin-Osaka Station, where passengers can transfer to the Shinkansen. Namba Station is one stop south.
Airport access
From Kansai International Airport, take a Nankai train to Namba, walk to the Osaka Metro platforms, and travel one stop on the Midosuji Line to Shinsaibashi. Airport trains don't serve Shinsaibashi directly, so allow time for the Namba transfer and the final walk from Exit 7.
Why stay here
The apartment layouts give families and groups room to relax together between outings. One- and two-bedroom choices are especially helpful when some guests want to turn in earlier than others, while private kitchens and washer-dryers make shared stays easier to manage.
Amerikamura's fashion shops and cafes are close by, and the covered Shinsaibashi-suji arcade offers another place to browse when it rains. Dotonbori is also within walking distance for dinner after shopping.
