Overview
Nagahoribashi Station is an Osaka Metro interchange on the east side of Osaka-Shinsaibashi, close to Minamisenba hotels, Nagahori-dori, and the underground shopping passages around Crysta Nagahori. It is most useful when your destination is east of the main Shinsaibashi shopping core or when the Sakaisuji Line is a better fit than the Midosuji Line.
Lines and connections
The station is served by the Osaka Metro Sakaisuji Line as K16 and the Nagahori Tsurumi-ryokuchi Line as N16. On the Sakaisuji Line, neighboring stations are Sakaisuji-Hommachi to the north and Nippombashi to the south. Trains run toward Tengachaya in one direction and toward Tenroku, Kita-Senri, Takatsuki, and Kyoto in the other through the wider connected network.
On the Nagahori Tsurumi-ryokuchi Line, Nagahoribashi is located between Shinsaibashi Station and Matsuyamachi, with trains toward Taisho and Kadoma-minami. This gives the station a useful east-west role across central Osaka, especially for trips toward Shinsaibashi, Osaka Castle-side transfer points, and Kyobashi.
Station area
The station is located below Nagahori-dori, where the Shinsaibashi and Minamisenba hotel area meets the Sakaisuji corridor. Crysta Nagahori is directly connected to Osaka Metro stations including Nagahoribashi, giving the area a weather-protected underground shopping and walking route.
For visitors staying near Minamisenba or the eastern side of Shinsaibashi, Nagahoribashi may be the closest subway entrance even when the broader area is marketed as Shinsaibashi. It is especially useful for hotels and restaurants around the east side of Nagahori-dori.
What's nearby
The station is close to Crysta Nagahori, the eastern edge of Shinsaibashi, and the hotel blocks around Minamisenba. Shinsaibashi-suji Shopping Street and Dotonbori are reachable from the wider Shinsaibashi-Minami area, but travelers focused on those places should compare the exact hotel location with Shinsaibashi Station and Namba Station.
Good to know
Nagahoribashi is not on the Midosuji Line. If your route depends on direct subway access to Umeda, Shin-Osaka, Namba, or Tennoji, Shinsaibashi or Namba may be simpler. Choose Nagahoribashi when the Sakaisuji Line, the Nagahori Tsurumi-ryokuchi Line, or an east-Shinsaibashi hotel entrance is the better match.
