Overview
For stays in Nagoya-Fushimi / Marunouchi, Nagoya Fushimi Station provides the main subway access. Fushimi lies between Nagoya Station and Sakae on the Higashiyama Line, with a transfer to the Tsurumai Line.
It isn't a long-distance rail hub. Office streets and central hotels cluster north of Hirokoji-dori, while museums and Misonoza provide cultural stops nearby. JR and Shinkansen connections remain at Nagoya Station.
Lines and connections
Fushimi is H09 on the Higashiyama Line. Nagoya Station is one stop west, with a published journey of about three minutes, and Sakae is one stop east. That position makes Fushimi a convenient midpoint for trips involving both districts.
On the Tsurumai Line, the station is T07. Trains run north toward Marunouchi and south toward Osu Kannon, so changing here avoids routing every central journey through Nagoya Station or Sakae.
