Overview
If you're planning Kintetsu day trips from central Osaka, Osaka-Uehommachi Station can be more convenient than a JR terminal. It anchors the Osaka Uehommachi district, bringing together Nara-bound trains, limited express services, airport buses, shopping, and hotels connected directly to the station complex.
Lines and connections
The Kintetsu Osaka and Namba lines serve the station. Westbound trains connect with Osaka-Namba, while eastbound services run toward Nara. Osaka Line services continue to destinations in Mie and Nagoya. Limited express travel requires the appropriate limited express ticket in addition to the base fare.
Nearby Tanimachi 9-chome Station provides access to the Osaka Metro Tanimachi and Sennichimae lines. Kintetsu's transfer guidance allows about six to seven minutes between the platforms. It isn't a same-platform transfer.
