Nishi-Umeda Station is the northern end of Osaka Metro's Yotsubashi Line, on the western side of Osaka's Umeda district. Trains run directly to Namba and the office districts around Higobashi and Hommachi, with no change required.
This is a separate station. Although it forms part of the wider Osaka-Umeda rail district, Umeda on the Midosuji Line and Higashi-Umeda on the Tanimachi Line have their own gates. Transfers between them require a walk outside the ticketed areas.

Lines and connections
Nishi-Umeda is Y11 on the Yotsubashi Line. Southbound trains reach Higobashi Station after one stop and Hommachi Station after two. At Hommachi, you can change to the Chuo Line for east-west journeys across Osaka. Namba Station is four stops away on the same line.
For Shinkansen services, walk to the Midosuji Line platforms at Umeda and take a direct train to Shin-Osaka Station. JR and private railway services depart from other stations in Umeda, not from behind Nishi-Umeda's gates.

Airport access
Direct limousine buses link the nearby Herbis Osaka stop with Kansai International Airport and Osaka Itami Airport. The stop is outside the subway station, on the northern side of HERBIS PLAZA ENT. Allow enough time for the walk, and check both the departure point and airport terminal before matching a bus to your flight.
Station area
HERBIS is immediately beside the north ticket gate. Its PLAZA and PLAZA ENT buildings contain shops, restaurants, and performance venues, so confirm which building you need before heading to a meal or show.
A step-free route from the platforms runs through the south gate and continues by elevator to ground level. Check the station map before choosing an exit if you're traveling with luggage or using a wheelchair.

Good to know
When transferring among Nishi-Umeda, Umeda, and Higashi-Umeda with a regular ticket or IC card, you must enter the next station within 30 minutes to continue the same Metro journey. A longer break requires a new fare. Commuter passes and Enjoy Eco Cards are exempt from this time limit.
Complete the transfer before stopping for shopping or a meal if you want to keep the journey on one fare.
